Songkran on Khao Niao Road in Khon Kaen Province: Tourists flock to participate in fun activities.

At 7:00 PM on April 13, 2026, at Khao Niao Road, Sri Chan Road, Khon Kaen Municipality, Mr. Khajornkiat Rakphanichmani, Governor of Khon Kaen Province, along with Mr. Yutthaporn Pirunsarn, Deputy Governor of Khon Kaen Province, and Mr. Prasit Thongtaengthai, Mayor of Khon Kaen Municipality, jointly presided over the opening of the "Human Wave" activity as part of the 2026 Northeastern Thailand Songkran Festival, the Dok Koon and Khaen Music Festival, and Khao Niao Road Festival.

The atmosphere at the event was lively, with a large number of tourists, both Thai and foreign. This year, the event area was extended and there were more stages for activities.
